The Rolex Milgauss is a tool watch designed to withstand magnetic fields, for professionals who work in such envorinment. Since its introduction in the 1950s and has undergone several updates over the years to push the boundaries.
The 116400GV has a stainless steel case with a diameter of 40mm, making it a suitable size for majority of wrists. The watch has a distinctive green sapphire crystal, hence the GV in the reference number Glase Verte meaning green glass in French 
The watch has a beautiful electri Z-blue dial with white hour markers, filled with luminescent materiál. The watch also has an orange lightning bolt-shaped second hand that adds to its unique design. The Milgauss 116400GV has a self-winding movement caliber 3131 with approximate power reserve of 48 hours.
This timepiece is shielded with a second internal soft-iron case (“Faraday Cage”) that protects the movement from flux created by electronic devices. Anti-magnetic escapement and the company’s exclusive “Parachrom Bleu” harispring. This combination provide the Milgauss resistance to magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss. Mille meaning thousand in French hence the name Milgauss…
 
 
The watch also features screw-down crown which helps to ensures water resistance up to a depth of 100 meters.
